School Lunch Information
A Federal USDA waiver that permitted school districts to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students during the pandemic expires in August 2022. Therefore, for the 2022-23 school year, the Olympia School District will resume charging regular prices for school meals, with free/reduced price meals for qualified families with an approved application on file.
Grades K-5
- Breakfast: $2.00
- Lunch: $3.00
All families who wish to apply for free or reduced meals with the Olympia School District are encouraged to fill out an application at the beginning of the year.

The 2022-23 online application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals will be available online via Skyward Family Access on August 24, 2022.
To apply online please use Olympia SD Skyward Family Access: Family Access Portal and follow these steps:
- Log in to your Skyward Family Access account and click "Food Service" on the left-hand side menu.
- At the top of the page, click the drop-down and select a student from our household (you will only need to fill out one application for your household).
- Click "Applications" at the top of the page.
- Click "Add Application."
- Follow the prompts and be sure to complete all sections. Be sure your electronic signature matches what you entered in Section 3 exactly.
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email and your eligibility will be updated.
